Prep your mind

Your mind usually does all of the hard work when studying, so it’s super important to take care of it.

Taking a few minutes out to slow down your thoughts and reset your mind before getting stuck in to your study session can massively benefit your results! Think of it as stretching before running, you need to prep your body before sprinting so the mind should be no different!

An easy way to prep your mind is with the 4 7 8 breathing technique – the numbers represent the seconds per step! Why not give it a go?

1: Exhale deeply through your mouth, let it all out!

2: Close your mouth and inhale through your nose to a mental count of 4.

3: Hold your breath for a count of 7.

4: Exhale completely through your mouth and release any worries or tension!
