Intentions Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is Glide Utilities Ltd (company no. 06194523) whose registered office is at Alpha Tower, Suffolk Street Queensway, Birmingham, B1 1TT (“Glide”).
  2. The prize draw is open to all students aged 18 years or over, studying in institutions within the United Kingdom, except employees of Glide, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
  3. To enter the prize draw, you must inform Glide of your intentions for the next academic year, by selecting from the options within the email sent to you.
  4. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  5. There are 4 x £250 vouchers to be won. The prize draw will run from 01/05/2021 to midnight (GMT) 31/10/2021
  6. All entries must be submitted by entering the prize draw upon survey completion and only one entry per person is permitted.
  7. All prize draw entries must be received by Glide by no later than midnight (GMT) on 31/10/2021. All prize draw entries received after this time are automatically disqualified.
  8. The winners of the vouchers will be announced at the end of November 2021.
  9. Glide is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with the prize draw.
  10. Glide accepts no responsibility for any entries which are not completed for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
  11. Glide will not accept proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.
  12. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process within 28 days of the closing date by a third party.
  13. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If a winner does not respond to Glide within 14 days of being notified or the winner cannot be contacted for any reason whatsoever, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Glide will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  14. The prize will be sent to the winner by email within 10 working days of being notified.
  15. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Prizes are subject to availability.
  16. This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to Glide and not to any other party. The information will be used in conjunction with Glide’s Privacy & cookies policy.
  17. Any personal data relating to the winners or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the customers prior consent. See clause 17 with regards to the announcement of the winner.
  18. Glide must make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Glide will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails glide@glide.co.uk or writes to the address mentioned above within [one] month after the closing date stated above. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Glide via email on glide@glide.co.uk. In such circumstances, Glide must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  19. Glide reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Glide’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  20. The decision of Glide regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding it.
  21. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
  22. Insofar as is permitted by law, Glide, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Glide, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  23. Glide reserves the right to cancel, amend, suspend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice where it becomes necessary to do. This includes circumstances beyond Glide’s control including, without limitation, any act of God or actual/ anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation. Any change to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Glide.
  24. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Glide reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions
