Competition Terms & Conditions
Introduction
- These terms and conditions apply to the “Win your first year of broadband for FREE” competition (the “Competition”).
- The Competition is a prize draw that is free to enter.
- The promoter is Glide Business Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (06489468), whose registered office is at Glide House Ground Floor, Building 4, Windmill Road, Kenn, Clevedon, United Kingdom, BS21 6UJ (“Glide”).
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating its agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Prize
- The Competition prize is to win a credit note that can be applied to a business contract with Glide that will give your business the equivalent of one year of free standard broadband service (selecting from one of the following broadband packages; 1. Glide Lite Business Broadband bundle 2. Glide Essentials Business Broadband bundle 3. Glide Max Business Broadband bundle). The prize may be used for one business premise site and one VOIP licence only. The business premises must be no more than 150 metres away from a Glide fibre point of presence.
- This credit may be applied to any new broadband contract with Glide that has a minimum term of two years, and any new renewal of an existing broadband contract with Glide for a minimum renewal term of two years. It may not be applied against an existing contracted term.
- The provision of any broadband service is subject to site survey and Glide being able to provide the service to your business from its own network. Glide will provide the services at its sole discretion. Installation and other connection or third party costs may apply. We may not be able to provide a service to your business for reasons beyond our control. Please speak to a Glide sales representative for full details on technical limitations that many apply.
- Glide will provide a cash alternative prize of £100, in the event that Glide is unable to the provide the broadband services to the winner for reasons beyond our control. The prize has no other cash value whether the winner uses it or not.
Entry Requirements
- To enter the Competition, you must complete and return an official entry form on behalf of your business, which are available from a Glide sales representative. The closing date for entries is 23:59pm on the 30 November 2022.
- The Competition is open to all businesses located no more than 150 metres away from a Glide fibre point of presence. Agents and any third parties directly associated with Glide are not permitted to enter.
- A winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries on 1 December 2022 (“Draw Date”)
- The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone no later than two weeks after the Draw Date using the details provided at entry. If the winner does not respond to Glide within two weeks of being notified, the winner’s prize will be forfeited.
- Glide is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party.
- The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. It may not be applied against a residential broadband service.
- No responsibility is accepted for entries not received by Glide for whatever reason.
- Glide reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Glide’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Glide.
- Glide’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final.
Marketing Consents
- By entering this competition, an entrant consents to Glide and any of its group companies adding the submitted details to its marketing database, and to being contacted regarding products and services which Glide believes may be of interest. An entrant can withdraw its consent to such marketing at any time. These details will not be passed to third parties.
- The winner agrees to the use of its name and image in any reasonable publicity material (to be agreed with the winner).
- Any personal data collected relating to the winner or its employees will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Such personal data will only be used in conjunction with Glide’s Privacy and Cookies policy which can be found at https://glide.co.uk/policies/privacy/
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
