Glide was set up seven years ago by students for students to take the headache out of paying bills in shared accommodation.
Now we’ve teamed up with a fellow organisation set up by students for students, Accommodation for Students (AFS), the UK’s leading student accommodation website.
Glide and AFS are working together on a number of projects this year, starting with being a partner in the AFS No-Nonsense Guide to Student Life.
It’s a 142-page publication packed with information to help students get the most out of their living arrangements, from finding the right property, to contents insurance, and from recipes to hosting the perfect themed house party.
It’s also got 20 city guides from Edinburgh to Plymouth, once again written by current students thinking about all of the info that new students would want to know, from the best places to eat and go clubbing, to how to sort out your accommodation.
We’ve written about how bills can fracture friendships. After all, a recent NUS study found that almost half of students find paying bills and rent stressful so it’s clearly one of the more difficult issues students have to deal with when they go up to uni.
