Birmingham Future has launched its annual search for a graduate apprentice to work for some of the city’s most successful businesses.

This year there will be an amazing opportunity to work across a number of different sectors, from recruitment to creative, for not one but two graduate apprentices.

The Graduate Apprentice Scheme is close to our hearts here at Glide and as one of its employers we have worked with some wonderfully enthusiastic and talented university leavers.

In fact, we’ve been so impressed with the graduate apprentices we’ve worked with in previous years that we have gone on to offer them jobs at Glide HQ.

2011’s graduate apprentice Richard Price successfully completed his placement with us and went on to become our sales manager, having secured £90,000 of sales in just four months.

He now looks after business development for Glide and plays an influential role in our expanding team.

Following in Richard’s footsteps, Josh Bennetto joined Glide as 2012’s graduate apprentice, going on to work for Glide’s newly launched sister company Roar after completing his placement.

During his placement with Glide Josh played an integral part in the creative development of the Roar website and the launch of a promotional film about the new company’s services.

This year’s graduate apprentice, Lauren Hornbuckle, will be joining us on May 1st. We’re really looking forward to working with her and we’ve got lots of exciting projects in store.

Being part of Birmingham Future’s Graduate Apprentice Scheme means that both Glide and the apprentices benefit from integration into Birmingham’s business community.

Would-be apprentices should expect to be thrown in at the deep end. They’ll be faced with a diverse range of opportunities and they’ll be embraced by Birmingham’s professional sector.

If you think you have what it takes to be the next graduate apprentice then you can find details of the application process here: http://www.birminghamfuture.co.uk/graduate-apprentice/

The scheme starts in September.
