With the end of exams on the horizon, and graduation for many of our Glide customers, we’ve rounded up some of the best nights in London, for the Londoners among you! You may be looking for a low key night or simply a place to have a great time; we’ve got a real variety here that hopefully will appeal…

Church, Clapham Junction

Church is, quite simply, a raucous night. Get your best fancy dress on (any kind will do) and head over to Church at 12pm on a Sunday afternoon – yes, you read that right. It’s a Sunday afternoon. Perfect for bank holidays, and of course perfect for students who don’t have lectures on a Monday morning! Fancy dress is a free for all, but some weekends they’ll have themes, so get on board as it’s a great ice breaker if you want to get to know some of the locals!

It’s a great venue and always jam-packed so buying your tickets in advance is recommended! Standard tickets cost £12 but if you manage to book early enough this can go down to £9. Once you’re you buy drinks vouchers so you can keep track of your spending (no loose change falling about the place!), always a bonus. Expect to leave the club at 4pm, completely baffled by sunlight…

Best for: a good old fashioned messy night.

Bounce, Holborn

You may have spotted this place on a little known programme called ‘Made In Chelsea’… It’s a great novelty night and is probably best for those looking to spend some quality time with friends, whilst also playing a competitive game of ping pong! The bar itself does great food and drink, but also offers a number of ping pong tables for visitors. For £10 per table per half an hour (during off peak times) you can mix a game of ping pong with a few speciality cocktails.

Bounce can get really quite busy during the weekend and Friday evenings, so booking is a must. Who knows, maybe you’ll bump into a few of the cast from MIC!

Best for: trying something new

ZSL Lates, London Zoo

You may have already been to the Zoo to gawp at the animals, but have you been to the Zoo… in the evening… to drink with the animals? Okay, so the monkeys don’t drink, but it’s a novelty night out. Not only do you get to see the animals, but you also get to let out your inner child in an adult sized playroom with ball ponds! There’s a few comedy acts and cabaret shows too, with some exotic food vendors dotted around the park. A ticket will set you back £25 (£15 early bird), with entry permitted between 6pm-10pm. Note you aren’t allowed to take your own drinks in, so it can be a pricey event.

Best for: a once a year special outing
