Our team at Glide like to spread our mantra of ‘Bills made simple – Life made simple’ as much as possible. One of the most effective ways we do this is by talking to property investors and landlords across the country at Property Investors Network meetings (or PIN meetings as they’re affectionately known).

Founded by Simon Zutshi – a property investment specialist with 17 years experience in the industry – PIN meetings are monthly seminars which take place all over England. Each event tackles a new specific topic relevant to property investors and professionals in the industry.

Traditionally kicking off at 7pm, the doors open an hour beforehand to let attendees network and catch up. Once everyone has become acquainted, the evening begins with an introductory 25 minute educational seminar from an expert in their respective field, followed up by a more in-depth 55 minute educational seminar from a different industry guru.

The idea behind the seminars is to give property investors a chance to learn from the experience of other investors in the UK and not make the same mistakes they might have made on their path to success. As well as rubbing shoulders with other investors, the seminars are also an extremely useful way to keep up to date with changes in the market and stay on top of new legislation.

One golden (and extremely refreshing) rule of all PIN meetings is that people are not there to sell anyone property, but rather to share insights and connect with likeminded property investors. The seminars are an information channel which over the years have created millions of pounds in joint ventures between investors.

Of course, don’t be put off if you’re new to the property investing game. The seminars aren’t just for those people who have already made their millions in the business. A lot of people simply attend because they have an interest in becoming a property investor and need some advice on how to start building a portfolio.

The seminars are so effective in fact, Glide’s very own Richard Price (who focuses on our business development), has recently taken a valiant leap onto the property ladder and used what he’s learnt at PIN meetings to purchase his very first buy-to-let property.

“Before we started attending and speaking at PIN meetings with Glide, I hadn’t thought about becoming a property investor, but the stuff they share just makes a lot of sense. I’ve just bought my first buy-to-let property and PIN meetings have been a huge influence on my decision to do so,” Richard said.

Glide makes bills simple for landlords and tenants in shared properties. PIN meetings make life simple for property investors around the country.
