We’ve all heard the age-old rumour that students can’t cook and but we simply won’t believe it. We know that some of you foodies can cook up a storm in the kitchen, which is why we’ve teamed up with the guys at Bacofoil for their Student Cook of the Year competition.
To be in with a chance of winning £1,000 worth of groceries, simply post a picture on Facebook or Twitter of a dish that you’ve created, along with its name and the hashtag #BacofoilStudentCook
Entries close on 31st December 2014 and will be judged on presentation and the creativity of the dish’s name.
Finalists be invited to take part in a high-pressure culinary contest and asked to prepare their dish for the panel of judges, which includes celebrity chef and author Sam Stern, Masterchef winner Steven Wallis, Bacofoil marketing manager Melissa Dickinson and Lulu Grimes, deputy editor at Olive Magazine.
The winning cook will be chosen at Cactus Kitchens in London and will receive £1,000 worth of groceries.
