From the very beginning, the co-founders of Glide, James Villarreal and Sandeep Krishan, have had a dream…to one day make it into the Sunday Times Fast Track 100.
And last week, that dream came true…
On the morning of Friday 5th December, both James and Sandeep were informed of the exciting news that Glide had made its debut appearance at number 95 in the list of the nation’s companies with the fastest-growing sales over three years. It was an extremely proud moment for the pair who dropped out of the University of Birmingham to pursue their business idea.
They set up Glide in 2006 after bonding over a beer and coming up with an idea to make the lives of students simple, which has now changed their own lives forever.
“It’s a huge accolade to be acknowledged alongside the best performing businesses in the country. We started the business 9 years ago in our student digs in Birmingham. Today we’re pleased to have our very own offices in Central Birmingham and a dedicated, hard-working team who have all played a vital role in making Glide a success”, James Villarreal.
