Are you an expert in the kitchen? Why not make the most of your culinary skills and bake something sweet for your loved ones? Cakes, biscuits and festive treats will make perfect little presents, especially if you put them in some pretty gift boxes for that finishing touch.

Teacup candles make perfect prezzies for friends with a retro vibe. You can pop down your local charity shop and pick up a pretty cup and saucer set. Make sure the wick is longer than the cup, melt candle wax in a pan and pour into the teacup surrounding the wick to create your very own candle.
TIP: You can add essential oils like vanilla or cinnamon for an even sweeter gift.
Retro sweet jars – these are always a big hit with those who have a sweet tooth.
You can find some cheap glass jars from a local bargain homeware store and fill with your loved one’s favourite goodies. Decorate the jar to jazz it up a little and voila…another perfect sweet treat!
