It’s been a pretty good December here at Glide! And we’re ending the year on a high after we made it into the Fast Track 100 earlier this month, and have most recently been named as the winners of the Best Innovation Award at the 2014 Best Business Awards.
A panel of over 20 independent expert judges were responsible for selecting the winners according to strict criteria for each category and sector.
The Best Business Awards judges said: “Wrapping utility bills into a package with one monthly payment is a ground-breaking concept and ideal for those who share accommodation”. Although there are now competitors in the market, Glide continues to revolutionise the multi-tenant market by offering customer services via a portal and a mobile phone App. Glide is a true innovator and will always be one step ahead of the market.”
Glide co-founder and CEO, James Villarreal said: “Winning the 2014 Best Innovation Award at the 2014 Business Awards is a testament to how far Glide has come; an idea that started in a university flat has grown year on year to revolutionise the utility and billing sector. Winning the award is proof of Glide’s place as an innovative market leader in this competitive space”.
