You don’t always have to fork out a small fortune travelling overseas to explore new places and attend cool events. Maybe this is the summer to look closer to home, and this year the UK is hosting a load of exciting stuff across the country. Here is a run through of some of the top events around Britain in 2015.

From 7th-31st August this summer, Edinburgh will become home to the biggest arts festival in the world. With loads of free comedy, theatre and music shows, a lack of spare funds should be no obstacle to attending one of the UK’s favourite events. There are even opportunities for paid work or volunteering positions at the Fringe.
