Gliders Hannah Phillips, Grace Williams, Jessica Shotton, Richard Price and Sam Sheridan teamed up to face the challenge of Escape Live in Birmingham this week. They headed down to tackle Room 13, to solve the mystery of hospital patient Amy, who had been abducted and held hostage by an evil doctor.
The Gliders were locked up in an abandoned hospital room with blood stained walls and mysterious clues, and it was up to them to piece together the evidence that had been left in order to set Amy free.
With only 60 minutes on the clock, the five of them put their heads together, collecting codes and unlocking more pieces of evidence that lead them one step further to cracking the final code that would set them free from the room.
The group managed to complete the task with 6 minutes to spare – a victory for them as they were told only 50% manage to make it out in time!
Glider Grace said: “The whole experience gave us all a real adrenaline rush from start to finish, and for the majority of the time we almost forgot the situation wasn’t actually real. We pulled together really well as a team and everyone pushed their problem-solving skills to the limit. I’d definitely recommend giving it a go, it was a lot of fun and a great team-building activity”.
