So, you’ve received an email from us about an overcharge on your gas bills and you’re probably wondering what it all means, right?
 Here we will explain in a nutshell what has happened and how we are working to correct this for you!
Why am I being refunded?
We have identified that due to a slight miscalculation in gas bills, some of our customers have been overcharged. No need to panic though, for most customers these extra charges were £4 or less and we are writing to all affected customers so we can issue a refund. To ensure you are not out of pocket, we are also paying interest on the amount we overcharged.
We have worked with the Energy Ombudsman to put this right and are taking the above steps to correct this mistake for the customers affected.
We’d like to apologies to all of our customers that this has affected and we can assure you that we are following the right steps to put this right and to make certain this doesn’t happen again.
