Now that you’re back at Uni it’s time to get your head back in the game. Dust off your books and get studying because exam season will swing round in no time.

Post-its and mind maps are everything!

The best way to try and cram in all of the knowledge is to break it down into key bits of information. Make your notes small but concise, start with post it notes of main headers then add a stream of information from the main topic highlighting the most important bits of info.

Sleep, sleep… and more sleep!

The human mind needs sleep, it is the most important  health behaviour we engage in daily. The less sleep you get its more likely you will catch a cold or the freshers flu. Whereas the more you increase your sleep, the better your mental and physical health will be… focus is key.

Healthy foods, healthy mind.

A healthy meal during your revision will give you the energy to power through studying. Also, on the day of your exam, it is important to get a nutritious breakfast to get you going for the day! So a full English is probably not the best idea!

Try super foods like blueberries, broccoli, fatty fish, coffee, pumpkin seed and dark chocolate where they are all linked to improving memory and brain stimulation… junk food won’t cut it (but a treat every now and then is good for the soul).

It beats lounging around….

Exercise!!!  After all, it increases the blood flow to your brain, which is good, trust us!  It helps keep you calm and mentally relaxed leading to more efficient studying.

A few minutes of cardio improves energy levels, Getting fit means becoming more motivated, so say hello to a new productive and proactive you!

Exams are here…

Utilizing all of these key points together leading up to the exam day, and on your exam day will improve your chances of being the best version of yourself before pen hits paper on the day.

So just remember to wake up with enough time to have a healthy balanced breakfast and of course enough time to make it to the exams!

Before you leave your house brush up on key bits of information as a reminder to what you have learnt from all .

Don’t stress. Be calm. You can do this! Good luck!
