Our recent research show that binge drinking has dropped by 30% among students, I mean, there’s better things to do right? and no one likes a hangover.

So what else is there to do apart from drinking or studying? we’ve listed some tips that will keep you entertained, whilst making new friends.

Netflix and Binge…

With hundreds of series and some pretty epic films, you’re not short of something to watch. Get your housemates together to take some time out and watch your favourite shows.

Join a club…

There are loads of varying clubs at University. You can join a baking club and become the master of the kitchen or even share your love of wizardry in a Harry Potter society. You’ll be spoilt for choice!

Have a kick about…

Joining a uni sports team is a great way of meeting new people and bonding as a team. So if you’re not into drinking, this is a definitely a good way to bag yourself some new like-minded mates.

Get out there… 

Who doesn’t love a bit of fresh air? get your housemates together and go for a walk! We’re sure that in your uni town or city there are some pretty cool hot spots that are worth seeing. Get out there and have a look.

Try and be the best student you can be! After all you’re there for education so why not get ahead of your classmates. Get the books out, whether it’s heading over to your uni library, setting up camp in the park, or getting some quiet time.

Whatever you decide to do, there’s no reason into being pressured into drinking as they’re are so many alternative activities you can do that allows you to meet new people.
