Valentine’s Day is coming up and whether you like to celebrate it or lay low, here’s a few idea’s to keep you entertained.

Do something special for someone special

If you have someone special and you’re panicking over buying a gift or paying for a fancy meal because university is breaking the bank, why not make something instead? You can do this on a budget and it becomes more sentimental! Get creative and create a photo book capturing all the memories or head to Aldi and cook a homemade ‘fancy’ meal.

Watch a Rom-com!

Get your housemates together, grab a bag of popcorn and get all cosy to a Rom-com. Netflix has loads of films to choose from so you won’t run short of things to watch. Who needs a special someone anyway when you have your pals…and popcorn!

Have some ‘me’ time

Date yourself, spending time on your own is completely overlooked. There are tones of things to do by yourself and you know what? It’s rewarding. If you’re at a restaurant you savour every bite. At the movies you have the full cinema experience and appreciate every moment of it… and don’t have someone digging  into your nachos.

Find your LOVE for exercise.

Go for a run or take a class, take the opportunity to better yourself.  Be adventurous and try a class you’ve always wanted to try or go for something completely different. Exercise will release endorphins which will help you get over those Valentine’s day blues!

Share the love, share the bills

We make bills easy, taking the hassle and headache out of chasing different suppliers, working out which housemate owes what and when payments are due. Sharing bills also means no housemate arguments and also helps you to budget. Get in touch  for more info on how we can make you LOVE your shared life this valentines.

Whatever you do this Valentine’s Day, it is just for one day… why not spread the love more often instead!
