On Tuesday 21st September 2021, Glide were awarded B2B Service Provider of the Year at the annual Connected Britain Awards. We are grateful to be recognised, as this category highlights companies who have provided not just connectivity, but a wider set of services and support.
As the UK’s 7th biggest ISP, Glide is not just about faster, more reliable broadband - we’re about enabling our customers to use a range of technology more effectively, especially in the harder-to-reach areas other ISPs leave behind.
Connected Britain is the biggest gathering of the fibre industry in the UK with ISPs, vendors, competitors, partners, government bodies and local councils involved. The collective of people and organisations across the country who are focused on the UK’s digital journey to a faster Britain came together for the first time since the pandemic to share ideas and recognise each others’ hard work.
The B2B Service Provider of the Year Award is for businesses who have best served business customers with connectivity and gone above and beyond with a range of additional services to benefit businesses and move them forward. Glide’s win is a sign that we are doing great work with our products, customer service and customer care. Our focus on underserved areas and businesses in need is a tenet of our work that we consider of utmost importance. To be named B2B Service Provider of the Year is a fantastic sign to our workforce that we are on the right track, and to customers that they have made a great choice.
Dan Alvarez, Sales Director, congratulated everyone at Glide on the achievement, “To be nominated and shortlisted is a great recognition, but to win is a huge honour that shows how hard we work together on our services. No one department can win this alone, it’s only by working together that we achieve recognition and I look forward to celebrating more in the future.”
Glide’s business products are tailored towards the improvement, expansion and success of businesses who were previously unable to access superfast broadband. Our additional services help to level the playing field and benefit everyone in Britain, allowing us all to move towards a more connected future.
